Order

Virtue 3: Order

Let all your things have their places; let each part of your business have its time.
Order can be a command, direction or instruction.

Order can be the disposition of things following one another in space or time, in succession or sequence. The opposite of this would be chaos and disorganization.

To relieve ourselves of chaos and disorder we must keep things simple and organized. In turn we will live a fuller life. All things should have their place. Physical things such as your keys should hang by the door on a hook.

Emotional things, such as reactions to anger, hurt and pain, also have a place and time. Per the second virtue we have learnt this to avoid trifling conversation, or simply not to speak at all.

We need to make choices on the things we can control. This makes things easier and less resistant to our efforts. If we make the choices and changes that may come with it in the present moment, you will restore balance in your life. Find the time and the place for all things.

Ben Franklins Virtue of Silence

The Virtue of Silence

Speak not but what may benefit others or yourself.
 Avoid trifling Conversation

Know the appropriate time and place, including the words to speak.  Words once spoken cannot be taken back. Therefore select your words wisely.
Also select your words for the time, place and space for where you are.

Sometimes saying nothing at all speaks louder than any words. Sometimes people need a hug, rather than some coddling words.

Don’t attack people with your words, it is easy to blow up and rant and explode on someone in frustration or anger.

Learn to be quiet.
Practice Silence.
See the peace that can come over you.

Father Lead Me....

How different would many womens lives be if this advice was heard and obeyed.
It takes an obedient heart to fullfill a legacy.

Thank you Sanctus Real

I look around and see my wonderful life
Almost perfect from the outside
In picture frames, I see my beautiful wife
Always smiling, but on the inside

Oh, I can hear her saying

Lead me with strong hands
Stand up when I can't
Don't leave me hungry for love
Chasing dreams, but what about us?

Show me you're willing to fight
That I'm still the love of your life
I know we call this our home
But I still feel alone

I see their faces, look in their innocent eyes
They're just children from the outside
I'm working hard, I tell myself they'll be fine
They're independent, but on the inside

Oh, I can hear them saying
Lead me with strong hands
Stand up when I can't
Don't leave me hungry for love
Chasing dreams, what about us?

Show me you're willing to fight
That I'm still the love of your life
I know we call this our home
But I still feel alone

So Father, give me the strength
To be everything I'm called to be
Oh Father, show me the way
To lead them

Won't You lead me?

To lead them with strong hands
To stand up when they can't
Don't want to leave them hungry for love
Chasing things that I could give up

I'll show them I'm willing to fight
And give them the best of my life
So we can call this our home
Lead me 'cause I can't do this alone

Father, lead me 'cause I can't do this alone
