Ben Franklins Virtue of Silence

The Virtue of Silence

Speak not but what may benefit others or yourself.
 Avoid trifling Conversation

Know the appropriate time and place, including the words to speak.  Words once spoken cannot be taken back. Therefore select your words wisely.
Also select your words for the time, place and space for where you are.

Sometimes saying nothing at all speaks louder than any words. Sometimes people need a hug, rather than some coddling words.

Don’t attack people with your words, it is easy to blow up and rant and explode on someone in frustration or anger.

Learn to be quiet.
Practice Silence.
See the peace that can come over you.
